1000 Miles!

Hit the 1000 mile mark today.

So far the car has been perfect. Absolutely no problems. Over the last few hundred miles the car has become smoother. I could actually feel the motor loosen up a bit and produce more power. The handleing is excellent as is its ability to take curves. Almost has the "on-rails" feel to it.

Without question, the best car I have ever owned.

I'll agree with you on that being the best car...Both S-197 GT's that I have owned had a certain quality that is hard to explain. The comfort level, ride, and performance definately add up to best bang for the investment.I hope you have many more fun and safe miles in your GT.

I have the V6 and noticed around 2000 miles that the motor really perked up...it will lay rubber from a stand still anytime I want it to. All I've done is put a K&N drop in filter so far. Definitely the snortiest V6 I've ever owned. (Well, the bank and I, lol)

Congrats on the 1K mark, Now another 17.5K & you'll be as happy with the car as I am. The next thing you'll notice is the mufflers start getting louder the more miles it has on it.

LOL. I hit a 1,000 mile marker yesterday. In celebrating the plateau, I performed the first oil change. I could not agree with you more, the car just gets better. Zero problems... ZERO

My mufflers will not get any louder because I took them off the first week I owned the car!

SLP Loudmouths were installed in their place. Plenty loud.
