It's hard liking something this much...

So about a month ago, my co-worker backs into my car and puts a 2" dent on the passenger side rear fender. It was raining hard and he said he ran to his car with his head covered. When he started backing up, he didn't notice my car was parked perpendicular behind him--until his car stopped moving. Long story short--he paid cash for my car to be repaired and I took the opportunity to color match the mirrors as a separate job.

The whole thing took about a week, but I was really pleased with the work. The body shop sanded down the mirror housing until it was smooth.

Sorry, but I haven't taken any pics of the mirrors yet, but that's another story. Part two coming up...

Since i don't see a scratch, this could actually come out easily by a paintless dent remover.

i've had almost the exact damage once when my baby was 3 weeks old!
$120 USD (i'm in Dubai) and an hour later, i couldn't even tell where the dent was.

Glad everything came out OK. Nice to see there are people around who'll go the extra mile to make things right for a mistake.

Actually, after getting four different estimates, they all said the same thing--the dent was along the body line and couldn't be pulled out by simple dent removal.

By the way, I saw your conversion when you first started it (I had always wondered what a GT-H500 conversion would look like), and I just want to thank you for putting together all those awesome pics. It was that final push I needed--so I'm going to do the same conversion to mine.
