It's GREAT to be a kid of the 60's! We know what it is like and we have the ability to recreated the feeling with the 2005/2008 mustangs.
I am from a town south of the twin city's Rosemount.
I would like to post some of my Stang pictures ,but I don't have the software to reduce my picture sizes.

Welcome, LoudPony. That is one sweet list of mods you've got so far. I have to say, I've been curious lately as to what our color would look like with stripes as I haven't seen many. That Tungsten looks very nice! You said they removed the purple when they painted them? If you figure out how to post more pictures I'd love to see them.

Welcome to our world! I just bought a new white Pony... I have owned three Mustangs in the past.. My avatar shows me at a tender young age of two with my Dad's lime 1967 Mustang. Before that he had a 1966 Mustang in blue. Mustangs run in my blood.
In the late 70's my Mom owned a 1974 Mustang II in red and a few years later a 1974 Mustang II in blue. I picked that one out for her. When 1980 came around I got for my first car, a 1976 Cobra II. So thats where the legacy begins for me. The new Mustang is the greatest ever. It feels like a combination of my very first car plus the classic ones I remember. Even the exhaust note sounds like old Mustangs. I actually feel like I am in a classic Mustang, yet I have all the advantages of a modern refinement, comfort, feautures and technology of today.
Anyway there is something about the way a Mustang feels and looks that excites me in a way no other car can ever do. It's like a first love and a lifelong love. It runs in my blood.
Interesting to note for many years I kept having reoccuring dreams about my Cobra II... They were always dreams of still having it or getting it back. I think buying my new white Pony has manifested that subconcious desire and so far I have not had the reoccuring dream again since I bought the new one...
