I just spent all day putting my SHR louvers on. My street scene grill should be arriving in the next couple days too so I'll have some new pics up before long.

You know, I thought real hard about going with the SHR louvers, which I love, but I wanted to install them myself and was scared of removing the windows. Were they difficult to install?

All things considered, it wasnt that bad. Its just time consuming if you've never done something like it before. Getting the windows out wasn't that bad (just take your time and be careful), but it definitely takes two people. Also, make sure you use enough of the sealer or you will have leaks!

It would be easier to have it done by place that handles auto glass, but I've heard it can be a bit pricey.

Truck black out..

Does anyone have the CDC truck black out, or one of those magnetic applications. Curious what the alloy looks like with that blacked out.

I'm not sure if that's the same thing as the CDC piece or not, but I have the SHR honeycomb panel. Look at the pic again a few posts up, the second pic. Unfortunately, that's the best pic I've got right now of it. For some resean, I didn't take any straight on shots of it. I'll see about taking some tomorrow and post them up.

Edit: I just found this one, is this what you were talking about?

Well, the Street Scene centered foglights grille has arrived, so I'm going to put it on this evening. I'll snap some pics if there is enough daylight left. I'm hoping to do the new fender emblems this weekend.

Stay tuned!

Ok I couldn't wait. Pics aren't all that great, but you get the idea.

Am I the first Alloy pony here to have SHR louvers?
