Here's another example of Stealership highway robbery:

Earnhardt Ford in Chandler, Arizona has a Vista Blue GT500 in their showroom. List price on the vehicle is $43000. With options and their "small" value adjustment the total price tag on the car is $90,000.

I've gotta see this markup for myself. That Ontario stealership is only a couple of miles from me.

HAHAHAHAHAAAA!! These markups are comical! While I don't believe we will ever be seeing these cars sold at sticker, I am sure the markups will return to a more reasonable level once the novelty wears off.

Jim Click in Tucson is asking 25K over sticker, and have sold two from what my sales guy told me. One Vert, and one coupe.

I got quoted 69K in my area. I don't see the point, you can get a GT, build up the motor, boost it and get 10's out of it for far less then this. The mark up isn't worth the GT500 emblems!

What you give them and what they accept are too largely different amounts.

Exclamation This is why am building my own Shelby GT500

Its a hell of alot more cost effective ! Plus alot more fun too !!
Besides who needs a heavier 5.4 Liter engine when you can put a big bore
4.6 liter engine (forged internals) - slap in a saleen. roush or whipple supercharger on it and bump the boost to 12 - 15 lbs and you have a
500HP lighter Shelby GT500 !!! These dealers are crazy !! Hope they don't
sell them and then have to beg us to buy with heavy discounts !!! I can
then have two in my driveway. LOL
