Traded in my Bullitt on a new 08 GT500
I traded in my 08 Bullitt on thursday for an 08 GT500 that was still on the lot. Performance White with blue stripes- which is the color I wanted.
Ford is accepting a/z/x plan on these and giving a $7500CAN rebate- so this really helped with the depreciation hit I took on the Bullitt.
I'll be picking up the car later next week.

a/z/x plan is a discount give to ford employees (a plan), retired Ford employess(z plan) and friends of Ford employees (x plan). You need a PIN number in order to claim those discounts. The $7500 rebate was on 08 GT500's- perhaps it also applies to other 08 models.

Haven't driven it yet. I'll pick it up later this week- it's getting tinted and paint protected. So I'll enjoy short trip home and then right into my garage for the winter. We've already got snow on the ground so I won't be driving it again for another 6 months 
It would've been nice to keep the Bullitt, but I just couldn't see the point to storing 2 cars for the winter.
But I will always have fond memories of #2246.

Got a bit of good news from the dealer- they miscalculated the x plan price and overcharged me $500- so when I pick my car up on thurs. I'll also pick up a check for $500

They aren't that great. The body work is very cheap. I had an 06 S281E over the summer and the body parts were coming loose in the back. It was a blast to drive though!
