Some pics are up
oh yeah....thats sweet...not too sure about the location of the shelby letters on the back...I like the hood too..who knew!!
Overall, about what was anticipated. There are some obvious changes and deletions from the concept but again nothing surprising. I'm afraid the Challenger and Camaro will steal all the thunder at the show but the GT500 should be an awesome ride.
For me, still think I'm going to wait for the Boss

There never was a blue interior.
The blue seats were a photo chop by Motortrend.
As they say, don't belive everything you see.
Overall the GT-500 looks good, strong points are the front facia and duck tail. But I don't like the black rocker panels, black rear difuser and black mirrors. Kind of looks cheap to me. It would have looked a lot slicker if the rocker panels, difuser, mirrors and maybe even the front air dam were all painted body color.

Wow, if this was a chop they did a good job of it. I thought there would be a good posibility of blue interior someday. Maybe not.

Sorry, not imprressed. It dosent seem like a lot of imporvment over the GT. I think Ford could have done better. I would rather pay for a Roush.

Although I'm not sure about the Roush.
I think I'll wait to see if Ford comes up with something better when the competition arrives.

Exactly, I don't see what the big deal would be. The seats are contracted out anyway so instead of only red accents have a few more colors. I never thought about grey, but that would look good, nothing too extreme. The red is too "in your face" for me.

ok guys, I've seen the challenger (in fact that's about all I've seen in mt, r&t and c&d lately. But can someone post a link to the concept camaro that apparently everyone but me knows about???

I don't care for the black hood vents either, or what are they calling them plastic pieces?
The engine pictures that Brad posted aren't that impressive either.
The strut tower brace looks like Monster Garage designed it. Looks totally like a last minute add on/slap on....and this for a car that comes stock with 485 H.P. Does that single pipe even do anything.
Only thing i'm worried about is allocation.

I like it. A lot. I wish I wasn't in college and had the money to drive this. The only minor criticism I have is that I preferred the shelby logo on the rear of the concept version where it went across the middle of the tailgate. I'm still glad they actually put 'shelby' on the rear but I don't like the placement of it. That said though, who cares about logos when you have a supercharged 475 hp monster!!!
Some thoughts.
1. Shelby name on back
Did not like the Concept "Shelby" letters DEFINITELY do not like the new location. Reminds me of 1989 or something. Kinda cheesy. With the GT there is nothing on it that says "Mustang". This is flaunting the fact that it is Shelby, GT 500 etc.. Make up your mind and just go with one name.
2. Seats
Happy to see that the sticthing stayed. Figured that would be the first to go once the bean counters started looking at price.
3. Big Brakes
Happy they stuck with 14's
4. Hood
Not sure if I am just getting used to it but hood does not bother me. Plus the stripes look better on the hood going through the vent as opposed to stopping and going around it like in other shots.
5. Weight
My beef is with the 4000lb car, but pushing 475hp is still nice.
6. Price
Price is not set but lets say 45k for argument sake. Is it worth almost 20k more than a GT. For me...cant afford it anyway so not worth it, but for others...maybe.
