i am good friends with a guy who works at the local ford dealer here in shelby, nc and we alwasy get together after church and talk cars, and we got to talking about the new gt 500 and how we both loved it and how we couldnt believe it went for $600,000 on barret the other night, and i asked if they were getting any, and he said his dealership was getting only 2, and that they wouldn't be selling them, but that they would be auctioning them off and people would be bidding on them, he said people are going crazy over it at his dealership already and these cars are gonna go for way too much money....just wanted to pass this along...looks like price goudging has already started...id be ocntent with just a ride in one

btw my dealers regional rep said 7 units. The dealer and I both think hes off but that is the official word so far

 

 

I thought the 03/04 Cobras were going for $25K today....If that's true, I don't see the Shelby going for $25K in 3 years....maybe in 5 years.
