I was just at my local ford dealer, mcmahon ford in st. louis. Saw the sales mgr. and said high, started talking about mods on my stang etc. He said they just got invoiced on a gt500. Claims when they get invoiced for it that it should be here any day. I will try to get some pics when it arrives.

I have lived near McMahon for the past 18 years. I bought my first two new Fords there, then followed the sales manager from there to Sunset for my next two new Fords (my first two Mustangs: 2000 GT, 2004 Cobra). Got the Cobra under the PowerLease program, guaranteeing me a 2007 Shelby if I wanted it.

Unfortunately, neither McMahon nor Sunset understood that I had no incentive to pay more than sticker, so I'm buying my Shelby from an out-of-state dealer. (The sales manager I knew left the area, went to Detroit.)

But I'll probably have it serviced at McMahon, and there will be at least one Shelby on the southside. Hopefully it will arrive sometime between mid-July and mid-August.

awesome, too bad you had to go out of state, ike the sales mgr. has sold me two mustangs. Really nice guy, and thats to say the least. Doug the service mgr. is one of the nicest guys I have met in that business. Always eager to help me out. Talked to him about mods all the time etc. Says he will always air on the customers side, until he cant. Cant wait to see the cobra. Hopefully see you on the streets, I am the redfire with satin stripes, and my avatar says it all.
