saw my 1st Shelby today

I saw my 1st Shelby today at Star Ford in Glendale CA. Tungston Grey w/blue stripes and dark Charcoal interior. The car was locked and the hood was closed so I couldn't get a good look at the interior.
I didn't see any ADM sticker on the Shelby so maybe they plan to sell them at MSRP (sales department wasn't open yet so I couldn't ask about the price)

So you called the dealer and asked them what the asking price was and they told you $65K???
In the past they would charge ADM on the Mustangs (seperate window sticker)...but not on the Shelby I saw.

I also saw a GT in the showroom w/ an ADM added, (can't remember the amount)

Yes, They said they sold one and had one left and they were asking 65K.
Although I think that is ridiculous, it isn't as bad as Irvine where they sold theirs for 73K and have 30K mark-ups on the 2 Ford GT's they have

Personally I would never pay over MSRP for a car...I would rather wait until the prices come down to MSRP (or below).
When I ordered my 05 almost every dealer was charging ADM's on Mustangs, so it was worth the wait to get mine at x-plan.

But I guess the people that have the money to throw away and 'want the 1st Shelby in my neighborhood' will pay whatever it takes to get the car.

I saw a plethora of em this weekend-for the first time in person.
Oranges and reds and whites.....

I like em! 5.0 resto had one at Tommy(TDS) shop Thursday. Sweet Dang it was nice . Brad got Ford to bring one to display at the show, and several owners trotted theirs out as well.
Ernest Mccarty Ford brought one of theirs- I was surprised- It was sticker + 1,995 for Shelby stripes. Orange. Total sticker price 48 and change.

At the MCA they had several of them. Seeing them on the track was sweet!! They sound incredible!

I like em, but I wouldn't drop that kind of money on just one mustang.
