Not to sound like a broken record, but.....
Hi guys, I have the fever for a better adrenalin rush! I have started making plans to correct this with a GT500! So,I stopped at one of the bigger Ford dearlership this week to start my quest for a GT500. The internet dealer I met with is telling me that they are taking no less than 15,000 over sticker. Are there any dealers any where giving better deals than this? Sorry if this seems like a post you may have seem over and over, I have just now started doing my research for my new ride.
You will need to do some legwork...Start searching for dealers in your state and expand from there.......See if you can get on 08 order list at your price point.....Most important, be on a "Mission" to have a good shot. Lastly eventually prices will come down as time goes on. Good luck

Make connections with people of influence at a Dealership you may want to do business with and network through the local Clubs, Events, etc. That is how i got mine and got so far up on a "list" in 2005.
Speak with the Director or Floor Manager to get straight answers since you may already know from reading the Forum that many "typical salesmen" know little about Ford Performance Machines such as Roush or SVT's.
Money does talk and so does great credit. If the Dealer is reputable and recognice this;- also if you are a loyal Ford Customer, they may make some pricing incentives and lower the ADM knowing they have a little effort sure sale. I have used this neog. tactic twice in the past to help Others acquire a Shelby. One Gent acquired his VB 07 this way by paying 15 over last Aug when the ADMs were at 30+ over.
Best advice is to do your research. Not just on the vehicle, but the typical Market Trends by region and even size of Dealership. Frequent the Forums unique to the vehicle;- as once in a while, one comes up for sale privately.
Good luck to you
OK, Thanks guys!!!
I was a little concerned about getting some flaming from my original post......... but thanks for the advice.......My goal is to order one by September. So like I said I just now have started doing my research on this. I generally do alot of reading here on TMS before making any bold moves. Again thanks for advice..........
I think you are better off ordering an '08 becuase they will be cheaper them...MSRP most likely...AND...you get it just the way you want!
....well there you go!.....sorry about reading your mind....I'll try not to anymore...its a bad habbit I need to shake..
