Looks like Vapor is replacing Tungsten in 08 (well at on the GT-500).

Hey crispy, For some reason I don't have permissions to post in that thread (I am registered on stangsunleashed). Can you ask Harley if he has any info on the 08 GT?

Thanks

Crispy,
Nice info find. I went on the link but no additional data found. Did you see anything on new interior/convertible top colors found?

What - NO automatic transmission for people like Carroll, and myself? Ford dropped the ball on that one - a real jaw dropped - excuse the pun... Randy

We just upgraded the server there. There were a couple of glitches for a couple of days....

Highly doubtful. Start working out! Those hydraulic assist clutches are much easier to operate than the old '500s. Trust me. Go drive an '07 Mustang GT. You will be amazed. No more "broken leg"!
Let's hope there are more options to come (ie: vert roof color choices). I like the idea of the mood lighting, that should be cool & funky. Can't wait to see Vapor. After all, that's all the competition will see in front of them!

The Hydraulic Assist one in the Shelby can be driven everyday IMO. I find the one in my Roush is too light at 38 lbs after it had already been adjusted once. The stock is about 32 to begin with. Yes, the newer cars have light clutches.

Vapor sounds to me like a very light silver.

This is the latest on what I heard will be "Vapor Silver". It is supposed to be in between Tungsten and Satin Silver. If correct, I'm surprised it would be that dark. I was hoping for a really white silver. I think it would look awesome. Then again, Alloy is pretty sweet, but I have a new F-150 in Dark Shadow Gray that looks slightly lighter than Alloy, so I might gt bored with it...we'll have to see for sure...but I bet my source is right...

Thanks for the info. That's actually good to here. Satin Silver is nice but I would prefer something a little more silver/darker. I liked Tungsten/Titanium on the concept car, but the production version had too much lavender for me.
