The one in the picture advertises on ebay that they have 9 or 10 or even 11 in stock at a time. I hope they paid 15 over for each and have to eat that come Summer.

If that is not collusion I don't know what it is, and Ford does nothing about it. It makes a case on point why Ford deserves no help from their loyal customers.
SVT had required dealers to meet certain criterias to sell their products and treat their customers well. That went out the window the day Ford decided to allow non SVT dealers to sell their top end Mustangs, so the end results are disappointing but not surprising.

SVT Authorized Dealers only, IMO, keeps prices stable as well as the services genuine. But, this would work in the favour of the Client, not the Dealer.
It would be similar to Jack allowing anyone to sell the Roushes whom are not Authorized Roush Dealers.

In the end, I emailed or spoke to over 400 dealers in several states. At the time I found 3 in about a weeks work that could have resulted in deals I could afford. England Ford in OK was the easiest to deal with and genuinely interested in selling the car. Followed through and kept thier word.
There are lots of dealers that need to be repremanded and brought under control by Ford for shady business practices but the SVT dealers are no better or worse in this regard than the general dealer population. In my case the opposite is true.

As for the dealer experience I suppose you are partly correct on the "no better, no worse" shady business practices. The difference is when SVT was involved they responded quickly and efficiently so as to maintain and correct any customer service concerns or issues. SVT dealers had to answer to SVT's demands where dealers presently seem to answer to no one.
It is no coincidence SVT had a strong following mainly due to the fact they cared and catered to their customers.

My next Mustang was going to be a SVT Cobra. Shelby came along, and I was thrilled! Then I saw the price, then the mark-ups......Not me brother!
Since then, I have been screaming for a 350-400hp SE Mustang - under $35k!! Now even the odds of a SE being under $35k are slim.
