Is this the new shelby gt-500KR ?
Found this on the internet. There were pictures of a red ShelbyKR on TMS that had a metal mesh grill and hood vents. This Grabber Orange one has a grill with a huge honeycomb pattern. This thing should suck in some air, right?I think I see some scoops on the rear side windows like the 67-68 Shelbys. Also, those rear quarter panels look like they have an upswept "HIP" on them.Thought you guys(and gals) might find this interesting, can't tell if the grill is metal or plastic.

I was able to downsize the photo. The Shelby coupe has no over-the-top stripe and a number on the windshield(prototype#?) Notice how high the ducktail looks through the back window. It still has the current wheels and snake on the side but no snake emblem offset in the grill.

That was the factory GT500 used in the C&D sponsered One Lap of America race this year. I believe they did some suspension development work and perhaps a bit of tuning, and they let MM&FF have a shot at it.

I do believe you are right!
The picture you posted has the same scoop on the side window and that is the biggest ductail spoiler I've ever seen.I wonder where the huge mesh honeycomb grill is? Maybe it's there but the shadow hides it.The spoiler on the other picture is the stock one, they must've decided to put a bigger one on it for racing.

I believe that is the FRPP test car for the new Packs that will be offered for the Shelby. Power Pack, Handling Pack, etc. Supposed to have quite a bit more power and vastly greater handling feel with less understeer.
