I stopped by a Ford dealership in Yuba City, CA today just to see if they happen to have a GT/CS on the lot. I was talking to the salesman and he told me that they had gotten in a GT500 convertible and had 30 people on the waiting list so they started calling them and said that they were going to sell the car to the highest bidder over MSRP. He said, "we sold it for 17K over MSRP"! I wonder if there was someone really dumb enough to pay that much money for it? BTW they didn't have any GT/CS on the lot.

 

According to the ford dealer stock search the other day, only Gridley and Colusa Ford dealerships had any 2007 Mustangs on the lot. The Yuba City dealership had none. Of course, I don't know if that stock checker shows GT500s or not, I suppose not.

Anyways, the Yuba City dealership is kinda iffy at best.

 

I guess telling a tooth fairy story is out of the question.

 

Guy here in NY paid 25K over sticker here for his the other day.
