Oh wow.
It's nice but has no practical purpose. Who's gonna be doing 200 mph??? I don't care if the car is capable of it, it's plain suicide.
I'm one of the few who absolutely dislike the C5 and C6. I do not like the lines of the car. To me, they are just plain butt ugly. I mean, why else would this Chevy boy buy Ford?? Imagine this: Take a pear, lay it on its side, then squash it slightly. Voila, you've got a C6!! Same thing with a GTO except start with a plum...
The last cars GM made that I still like are the C4 and third gen Camaro (which I still own). These cars are sleeker and much less rounded. It's this rounded look is what I don't care for.

You have to appreciate that GM used a cool trick to make it a "dual scale" speedometer. Notice that from 0-100 (where most people drive), the major ticks on the speedometer are in 10 mph increments. Then after 100, the major tick marks are in 20 mph increments. This way speeds over 100 only take up a small part of the guage. Still useful for the small number of people that drive their Vettes on road courses.
