Hi all,

Dad is very interested in getting the Shelby. He needs to know how much you have to put down to get on the waiting list. Also, what colors are available. I know the 2007 is probably out of the question, but what is in store for the 08 model as far as colors. I would have answered these questions myself, but I really haven't been paying attention to the ordering process for the Shelby.

You deposit what ever the dearer requires. Mine was $100 six months ago. Not much chance of owning an 07 if you are not currently on a list or willing to second mortgage the house to own one. I have read the colors will be out the 13 th of March along with the other options.

Money depends on dealer. Most will accept any down payment. $500-1000 is standard.

There will be '07 cars available and plentiful. Tell you dad to PM me if he wants to know more about production numbers and the like. Do not pay over sticker price. He will be able to get one in 6-12 months at or below sticker. Ask all the guys that paid AMV for their '03 Cobras, Mach 1s, Tbirds, Z06s, M3s, etc. They all came down to normal price.
