Does anyone have a photo of the hood latch area with the Radiator sight sheild removed?

i noticed through the upper grille that the latch is painted matte black, but was wondering how it looked from under the sight sheild, and how far does the paint go...

 

It is barely noticeable and difficult to find at times.

 

on a v6 or GT this part comes in body color, as it's hidden behind the upper grille, however on a GT500, and since the grille is more open, that comes painted matte black from the factory.

do you think you could be bothered to remove the radiator sight sheild and snap a couple pics?

My GT is black, but I knew you'd see the reflected light through the grill so I painted everything that would be visible through the grill flat black. I know this doesn't answer your question about the paint on a GT500, but I would bet it's similar. Basically paint on the front of the rad support adjacent to the latch and on either side of the condenser/radiator. I also painted my condenser and radiator since they were bare aluminum.

I noticed this thread and wanted to add while you are painting the hood latch into stealth mode why not black out the condensor while you are at. I will dissapear right before you eyes.
