New-be here. In feb I picked up a 2008 Shelby GT500 convertible, performance white with black interior. It is stock except Borla axel back and the Ford Racing cold air intake. I had it dunked last week here in Colorado Springs and she put down 422 hp and 402 torque to the wheels at 6400 altitude. The tech told me factoring in drive line loss and altitude correction I was making around 453hp to the crank. I felt like Ford was telling the truth. Aside from a few beat up f-bodies and a 1996 Cobra, this is the closest thing I've ever driven to a super car. I have zero traction in first and second gear and by the time I hit third I'm breaking the law in every state.
