Question GT500 Rental in Vegas

Well, I'm off to Vegas next month. I know that there are many exotic car rental companies there...does anyone know if there is a company that rents the GT500? I am having the hardest time finding one. Thanks.

Dude, I'm going to Vegas in March.. I'm also interested.

And if not GT500, I guess I could settle for a GT-H. Not to thread jack, but how much do those cost to rent?

I wouldn't care to drive a GT-H, just the GT500. Not really impressed with the GT-H.

Sure that there is a place there that has them. They have everything else, Vipers - Vettes - Ferrari - etc.

If you can't find one to rent, stop in Tucson on the way to Vegas. I'll let you drive mine. If you do find one, good luck with the clutch. It feels way different from anything else I've ever driven. Until you acclimate yourself to it, prepare for chatter. Oh, and the hissing sound you'll hear when working the clutch is completely normal...

Yea, that piqued my interest as well. I just can't find a place that rents the GT500. I'm amazed at all the Lambo's and others that every rental place has, but no Cobras! I did see the Saleen and Roush too, but if I'm gonna lay down the bucks I'd like it to be for the car I want to drive.

Hey Roger,

I was thinking of calling you the other day. BTW, AutoSpectrum won't refund my deposit on a purchase I never made... Actually I can see it from their side but in my own defense, the deposit was "for the purchase of x." I never purchased it so I should have received my $$$ back. And nowhere on the sales agreement stated deposits are nonrefundable.....

Otherwise, I'm enjoying my acquisition. No, no mods at all yet except my shortie antenna. And check this out, I probably own the ONLY 3,000 mile GT500 that has yet to be pushed to WOT....

Willie

If the Roush are S3/427R, you might want to give them a try. They are very sweet.

If you can find one, you've gotta hope that they will let you get it for your trip. Last time I checked for a GTH, they were sold out for the next 5 months.
