I was driving to my bball league game tonight in a severe downpour on the turnpike, when a car merges on ahead of me. As I get closer, I can tell that it is a 05- Mustang. Visibility was very poor, so it wasn't until I was passing and pulled almost to the rear bumper of the car that I noticed the SHELBY lettering and the black/red stripe SE. UNBELIEVABLE to me! I just figured most people buying these were garaging (is that a word?) them and here is a Shelby SE being driven in a gulley-washer!!!

Just thought I'd share...

Special Edition...Red stripe package limited to 1000 cars IIRC available in white or black only.

 

Mine gets washed when it rains...It's a car ment to be driven (hard)...

 

mine has been indoors over night once since i bought it. i dont garage it, its driven often. 17k miles in 11 moths, love this thing.
