I have an 06, I've ridden in S/C stangs.....what I want to know, is from owners, who've ridden in an GT vs GT500 what's the difference beside the whine and the pull???

 

It's all about THE PULL No comparison, and I have both a GT and a GT500. To me, the 5.4 seems a little smoother and not as coarse as the 4.6. And the GT500 rides better, no doubt due somewhat to the extra weight. They both have a clunky suspension, though.

 

Setting aside the obvious differences, it's a lot about the feeling of the GT500 being all it can be without being shortchanged or leaving it to the aftermarket to correct or improve it with upgrades which should be part of the model's factory stock and design.

 

Gobs and gobs and gobs of smooth, endless power and torque. The GT500 also has a really nice balance of power, ride and handling right out of the box.
