Took a ride to my local dealer, Quirk Ford, Quincy Mass, this afternoon to check on delivery of a Fusion ordered for my wife (due in next week). On the showroom floor was a Grabber Orange w/Black Stripes, GT500. Car was ABSOLUTELY....incredible! Didn't even look at the sticker, just an awsome color combo in this body style. First one I have seen in G/O. Almost wanted to talk trade...but then College tuition reality sank in. Friend said...."You could forget the Fusion and buy this instead", as I pulled myself out the showroom door. Told him I'll be back to buy one, once all the tuitions are done...sometime near 2018 or so!

 

The Grabber Orange/black stripe combo is a definitely a looker. Unfortunately it is also a magnet for attention.

 

Yeah, and driving fast and attracting attention aren't really a good combination...

 

I got 3 tickest driving my former Grabber Orange V6. Now that I have a black GT, I never had any speeding ticket......only parking tickets..

 

I love that combo.

 

I'm guessing your White/Blue and Red/White GT500s are also getting a little attention. I can't go anywhere in mine without someone taking a picture, yelling out the window or giving me a thumbs up.

Most folks don't even notice what my black stripe delete GT500 is...

And that is the way I like it...

 

Not much on the white, a little on the red likely due to the exhaust note but neither one is anywhere close to the '04 MystiChrome I had which the attention was overwhelming and got old real quick. Looking back I should have gone with red or black and it would have been like any average Mustang.

I actually get more attention in the LOUDER 2008 Bullitt than I do in my Stealth GT500!

I was at a friend's place last weekend for a Shelby/Mustang gathering. Mostly GT500's, with two Grabber Orange GT500's in attendance (including the host's)...



And, speaking of driving fast with high profile cars, that's why my car is a low-key alloy gray (and supercharged) sleeper GT as you can see below...

Wow. White stripes look surprising good on Grabber Orange. I'd assumed that the stripes would have been black before I saw the pix. Very cool.
