Finally decided to order an axle-back...

.... and the winner is --------------->>>>> FRPP! I am keeping it in the family. I let you guys know how it sounds, I've been assured it's a Borla carbon copy with Ford Racing engraved lettering.

I'll be sure to include the expert opinions of a couple of Gainesville's finest.

I ordered the exact same exhaust today! Next week, I will be putting it on my car. The stock exhaust is just to darn quiet.

You will love the look and sound of the FRPP's. It will sound like a completely different car!

I understand the Borla and Ford Racing are identical in structure, the difference is on the exhaust tips which are 4 inches wide for the Borla and 3 1/2 inches for the FR.

Do you have the actual FRPP part number handy, George?

The FRPP # is M-5230-5GT.

mach1fever: I don't think they are the same design.

This one, then. OK, cool. Thanks, George. I just wanted to double check, since that's the one I plan on ordering, too.

So these are effectively Borla Stingers, then, from what I gather.

Seven hundred-and-something bucks, Ed. That's what Cam Clark's parts department quoted me. Given the parity of the US/CDN dollar right now, I do think we're getting a bit hosed up here.

Yes. The regular price is $529. Supposedly it'll be $440 plus sales tax.

That is a good price. Just two problems >>

1. That price is WAY low, so caveat emptor. If it looks too good to be true...
2. Their automated shopping cart system is buggered.

Verdict: Stay away.
