Does anyone know how many 2007 GT500s are being produced?

Not one hundred percent on this one, but, a Sales Associate i know at GM Dealership says they are trying to get the Camero out by third quarter '08.

I will be surprised if the GT500 prices do not go down to MSRP before then. That will make two years of above MSRP for a Production Car by the last quarter of '08.

i doubt that GT500 prices will come down just because the Camaro comes out. The 6 cylinder and Mustang GT's will probably be priced a little more competively.

Even if Chevy makes a Z28 Camaro, you can bet it will have a hefty ADM on it as well. This will probably strengthen the GT500's position in the market.

Add the Challanger to that list. All muscle car dealers will take advantage of the high performance reincarnation.

I can already get a V6 Mustang or a Mustang GT for MSRP or Below MSRP. Are you sure I need to wait till the Camaro Comes out ??? How much more competitive on price do they need to get ?

Please Name One Car where a competitor came out with a different Model to compete with Car A, which Caused said Car A to increase market value for that car? Even if a new Camaro were not built, the price for the GT500 would come down to MSRP over time.

I believe Stangette has probably hit the nail on the head !!! IMHO

By last quarter '08, MAYBE...as an '09 model. But I'm still dubious.
