Bought the Porterfield Pads

...and they are worth every penny. The brake dust is significantly better. My white car was horrible about showing the dust. Any short run and it was filthy. I wipe it down with white microfiber cloths and Speedshine (quick detailer). They were always black when done wiping down. Now there is very little after even after a fairly long drive - even on the wheels.

I was going to wait until the stock pads were worn out, then replace. My brakes started squealing like a school bus at every stop. I had enough and decided to replace now. Glad I did.

If any of you are having brake dust trouble (and I'm sure you are), I highly recommend this mod.

Is there any difference in braking? The same, better, worst?

Too soon to tell.

First impression is that they are a little softer. I have not tried any hard braking. Still trying to break them in.

In other words, your usual heavy foot technique has to take effect before we get a summary.

Congrats! Thats the same pads I put on my Vette after changing out the rotors. I love them. The brake dust is pretty much gone. I only put them on the front, and now my rear wheels get black before the fronts even start to look dirty.
