With ADMs Dragging On...

this is getting closer and closer....

http://www.dodgechallengercountdown.com/

Don't get me wrong I LOVE my mustang, and if the Shelbys were at MSRP, I'd do everything in my power to pick one up, but if the ADMs remain, the challeger will just look awesome.

Yes it will. It will have the now abandoned SN95 coupe like design. And of course, Chrysler won't allow its dealers to induce ADMs as it did with the Viper, the Prowler, the Pt Cruiser, the Magnum, and the Charger. Right?

lol I'm sure they wont.... I'm hoping the challenger coming out will make whatever Shelby ADMs are left disappear. But I doubt the challenger ADMs will be anywhere near what the shelbys are

You have a point there. Competition is always good for the consumer. The Camaro should help as well.

I imagine that when they decide to stick the SRT8 motor in a limited edition Challenger, it will have ADMs that rival the Shelby!

Hey TW - long time no see! Is it me or you that have been away from the forum lately? I do like the look of that new Dodge - I'm a Mustang guy all the way but the clean, simplistic lines look nice!! Check out my sig....I have a nice surprise coming soon...just checked the convoy progress and the train just crossed from MI into IN!! Can't wait

BTW 2009 shelby was signed for recently. So that should bring down the adm's as well. Good things happen to those who wait.

+1 Good healthy competition in the Market as well as seeing the American Muscle back on the streets. I like the look of the Challenger and hope to see them on the streets. The Camero, IMO, looks better in the Vert Style than the Coupe fbased on this Released Concept.

HOTLAP, congrats on your "Surprise".

I think hes saying that the shelby was just signed to be produced for a 3rd year. originally it was scheduled for a 2 year production i with an option for a 3rd year...

Correct???

Most bids on ebay for the GT500 are not exceeding the $5K over MSRP range. The exception are the GT500s with the red stripe option.

That is correct. It was recently signed of for a 3rd year of production. The problem is if they decide to bring the boss back it can't be produced on the AAI line, so either the boss 329 won't be built until the new style change, or (as rumors I have heard have stated) it might be upfitted at SAI.

You are in for a treat and don't know how much so yet.

Mine was more by serendipity and was not really a direct order as I wanted a low serial number and told them to not even propose an offer unless she was built in the first month. Well, after being in a potential wait since the summer of 05, in June of last year they did the unexpected. Angel was a year old yesterday!

Just don't "stop the car". Keep Rolling. If you stop, they will come. It will be a rolling street show. lol

Here's a example.
I roll two blocks down my street to a Eye Dr. appt on a Saturday Morning at around 9 am. That afternoon, there were Shelby sightings commentaries recorded of it on the Forums. She don't get out but a few times a month and when she does, the neck snapper, she gets attention.
