Does anybody know when they are suppose to start selling the new 2007 Shelbys. And what is the MSRP on them. And how mant selling units are they going to make. And do you think its going to be like the GT and be double MSRP.

Job 1 is somewhere around June 1, so they could be at dealerships by July 1.
The MSRP for the coupe will be below $40,000. Even though Ford discourages price gouging, they can't stop it, so the asking price will be considerably higher for the first ones. Wait for 2008 or 2009, and you'll probably be able to get one under MSRP.
They'll make about 10,000 units per year.

Actually, if Ford REALLY wanted to stop it, I believe they could. All they have to do is limit that dealership's allocation of the "hot" car and I'll guarantee the inflated prices would almost dissapear.
And as for any legalities, Ford doesn't have to openly admit why that dealer's allocations went down.
