The thread from a month ago said that the GT-500 was delayed / canciled because the 5.4L engine was too heavy and the GT-500 was too dangerous to drive. All kind of BS.
There is a slight possiblity that this person at the dealer did hear a legitimate story about the "heavy" vibration damper, did not understand what a vibration damper is and mangled the story.
The story also said that Saleen was working on fixing the problem. The damper problem sounds like more a a job for Roush.
