Your favorite feature of your car (non-performance)?
Check this out:

It is a lot of reading and links and is 100% correct.
Much of the same holds true for signal lighting (turn, brake, fog, running). A simple 0,1mm change in the focal point of a bulb can make an SAE / FMVSS / EU certified lamp way out of spec.
If a persons goal is to change for the sake of change at the expense of performance then anything goes.
Bottom line:
There is no "magic bulb" that will improve the performance of any lamp housing be it good or bad to start with.
where to start?
really like that your trunk won't accidentally pop while driving.
love the LCD screen and all of the information packed within
Love the Auto up/ down for BOTH windows and on the passenger side.
Shaker system is wicked for a stock offering
HID headlights, wicked.
My Color, wicked
Pony projection lights are cool
love Mykey
Rearview mirror, auto-dim is awesome
Love the auto headlights (night time)
those are quick ones that just popped into my head. can't have just one!

What makes you say this? The position of the button? This is one of the few cars I've owned where you can actually pop the trunk with the car in gear - most cars I've had wouldn't allow it.
Too many good choices to pick just one...
I love the HID headlights and LED tail lights, the interior lighting (ambient lighting and mycolor), the 4.2" lcd screen, and the glass roof. I actually like sync as well, it works great for me and I like being able to stream pandora through applink easily with voice commands.

I do not have experience with Raxiom or any other aftermarket lighting supplier.
If you have a concern with any non-OEM solution which you should. At a minimum ask for SAE / FMVSS / EEC certifications.
The type approval numbers will by law be clearly molded or etched into /onto the lens.
Sorry for the rant.
I hate to see people replacing perfectly well engineered OEM parts with stuff that claims to the better without any empirical data to back those claims.

401A Brick Red Interior
Glass Roof
Pony Projectors
MyColor (set to white gauges, red rings, red ambient)
Bluetooth on the Nav Radio (love Pandora)
Little horizontal LED strips in the headlights (reminds me of the '70 louvers)
The Boss 302-style GT hockey stripes

I waited, and did not get the '12. I got the '13, because of the LEDs. The LED fog lights (in the GT), DLR LEDs, and the LED tail lights (biased, as I work for the company that makes the LEDs). Now, we make lights for a huge amount of cars. The other one I like, for which we make the LEDs, is the Audi R8, but is a little too expensive ;-)
Love the pony projection lights, and the my color stuff. And I do like the '13 nose so much! I did change the interior light to LED's as well. I also added an LED strip in the trunk (on the top), as the light in the trunk is not enough, and can easily be obstructed by anything in the trunk.

While driving, the trunk latch won't work if your driving. I tested the theory on my road. I was always concerned that i or someone else may have accidentally popped it while driving and its disabled while the cars in motion.
This is a great thread, as is it's companion thread. Kudos to Puma1552 for starting both of them.
In addition to all that's been posted, I'd like to add a few intangible, less specific favorite features....
Bang for the Buck
Overall our Mustangs are very well engineered at a relatively affordable cost.
Absence of continual recalls
Our GM friends can't be too happy these days.
The sh*t eating grin that can't be wiped off my face
The only time I'm not happy is on days like today when the weather prevents me from dropping the top.

So what's my favorite non-performance feature of my car?
Does it have to be a STOCK piece or can it be aftermarket? And can I list more than one? lol...
STOCK:
the back seat...so I can take my kids with me and here them say, "Daddy, do that AGAIN!!!"
AFTERMARKET:
does an exhaust count as non performance, since you barely get any hp increase if at all? The benefit is purely aural. If allowed, then Corsas.
if not allowed, then my VLED lighting all throughout the car, esp my Triton's up front (amber switchbacks)

Crap...apparently I can't read thread titles lol.
My favorite non-performance aspect of my car would be the California Special appearance package. I'm happy I didn't have to buy the front and rear fascias separately. IMHO, all the GTs should have came with these from the factory.
The only bummer about the CS package, is that you can't order Recaros or Brembos with it, but I'm throwing carbon fiber Sparcos in it and going with 6-piston Wilwoods all around
