Short throw shifter + trunk release button location = pop trunk 5 times so far while moving. Fail

 

I have never had this problem, just saying

 

I think part of it is my hand size.

I didn't think the trunk would open when the car is in motion...isn't this true? I swear I've tried it...could have been another vehicle though.

 

Lock button on key fob takes double click to unlock both doors similar to trunk release. Took a client for a spin yesterday and wondered why his door wasnt unlocked. I understood why when we took off and the trunk flew open.

The client asked if that was a special option

 

If there is it might be at a certain speed. All my trunk pops have been done at low rolling speed, like waiting for my gate to open.

 

Man, you must have some gargantuan mitts on you that you drag across the trunk button when shifting!

 

They are BIG

 

I hate waiting for my gate to open. But it's worth it to keep out the riff raff.

 

Well, Ford has to design for average users, can't design for the extremes...
