X-Plan questions for '13 GT

I just got my xplan pin from my employer and logged in to see what kind of pricing I can get for '13 base GT. The xplan price is showing up as $29042. Dealer invoice is $27952 according to a pdf mentioned on here. I was under the impression that xplan pricing would be 27952 * 0.996 + 275 which is appx. 28115. What gives? Just to make things easier to understand, I'm excluding incentives and the net plan price.

For my zip code it states the base GT starting at $30750. X plan price is $29042 and after a $1000 rebate the price ends up at $28042.

Exactly. 29042 is quite a ways off from the dealer invoice. Where is this .4% off invoice figure coming from?

Trim MSRP X-Plan
V6 $22,200 $21,501
V6 Premium $27,795 $26,235
V6 Convertible $27,200 $26,268
GT $30,750 $29,042
V6 Premium Convertible $31,200 $29,462
GT Premium $34,750 $32,777
GT Convertible $35,750 $33,712
GT Premium Convertible $39,750 $37,447

Current offers in my zip are 1k retail cash, $500 end of year cash, and through ordering a brochure 250-750 in customer cash.

So you can get a base GT with a MSRP of $30,750 at $26,792 after added incentives available.

I took advantage of all of that and instead of paying $45,065 for my car it was $42,736 with X-Plan, and $40,486 after available rebates.

I have no complaint about saving 2.5k alone on X-Plan and 2.25k by using what was available as resources to save money (like the $750 voucher)

The .pdf file here does not include the D&D, FDAF & Fuel charges that end up in the factory invoice total. Those amounts vary by region, hence they are left off the .pdf file and most 3rd party websites.

Here's current pricing that is complete for a '13 base GT 300A (includes the charges noted above*)...

$31,545 = MSRP
$29,681 = factory invoice total
$29,838 = X-plan

* D&D (destination & delivery) is $795 nationwide. $461 for FDAF and $57 here in the NW region currently.

I'm confused; I thought X-plan specifically limited the extra fees beyond D&D that dealers could tack on to the price to something around $275 for docs & advertising. Isn't that one of the benefits of X-plan? Or are you saying there's another $461 (regionally variable) advertising fee on top of that, too?

The FDAF & Fuel charges are NOT tacked on by the dealers - Ford assesses them on the invoice.

Doc fees are, indeed, capped at $100, but that's not anything I was referring to.

The X-plan and invoice pricing I quoted are straight from Ford with nothing added.
