Wrong or additional options on order?

Did a search and didn't find anything but I'm curious if anyone received an extra option or missed an option that wasn't/was on the window sticker or their order. I'd be surprised if this happens and I've never heard it happening....yet

For example the window sticker says Recaros but they're not in the car or vice versa

I think most of the miscommunication / intentional errors are between the dealer and Ford, and not inside Ford (e.g. the sticker and the car). I'm pretty sure Ford's inventory is automated and they won't be giving away free Recaro seats like that

On my 2004 Mach 1, I tried to go buy new brake pads for it. Went to 2 different auto parts stores and found none that fit my car. We ended up taking the old pads off and taking them to a store so we could compare them. We discovered that my car had Cobra brakes all the way around, even though the Mach 1's weren't supposed to have them.

I bought the car brand new in 2004 and it wasn't an option on the vehicle, just a manufacturing mistake.

Lol yeah I've never heard it happening before. Not familiar with how the production line process works but i figured as long as humans are involved it might be possible for error

Heh. If I knew someone working for the union, maybe he could 'accidentally' put in a 5.8
