From GUIONM on Z28Camaro
A quick tidbit on Ford's new V8 engines.....
....... instead of being called "Hurricane", they will now be known as the "Boss V8s" .
Debut in 2008 in the new F series, then will move to both the Crown Vic and Mustang for the 2010 model year.
There is a special version Mustang still scheduled to wear the name in 2009MY, but it's my own opinion that isn't definate.

Pfft, I can barely afford the insurance and payment on a 2007 GT 8) (in addition to mortgage, kids and most expensive, the wife).
I thank all that is holy that I've got what I got. They sure are cool to dream about tho. To tell the truth, to me, the regular GT is a monster and it gives me what I need(for now anyway). I sure do envy the GT500/SVT/Roush and other special stang drivers tho...
I can't lie about this
Maybe when it's paid off I'll soup it up or something. Been looking at the 900 HP capable blocks . Pulling the stock engine and putting it in storage, for a killer engine and drive train to blow up isn't outside the realm of possibility one day. I believe in replacing the engine ahead of time if you are going to soup it up . If I kill it, I can just put the stock drivetrain back in.
I'm lucky enough to have a brother that owns a large shop, so the capability for getting nuts is there 8)

It all depends on how well its executed. If it turns out to be an overweight, overpowered and overpriced Dreadnaught like the GT500, then no.
If its a slimmer, trimmer, more athletic and well balanced road racer in the spirit of the original Boss 302, at a good price value, then we might have a buyer here. I hope they won't go overboard with cheesy graphics and ornaments, or at least make them deletable, for those who don't like to look like a performance car circus come to town.
