Would removing bama tune now matter?

I don't have any problems right now.. But all these reports lately have me slightly scared ya know. Wondering if I should roll back to stock to save any further or future damage if any at all is happening.

And just so everyone knows.. I have zero problems right now with my bama tune, I'm just being cautious.

Ford will see that it's been tuned, no point going back now.

I have no idea, but I'm reading this diff than I'm getting from your replies. I think he was asking he's ran for, however long he's had it, should be back out before he gets any damage? May be covered, but still happens. Way I see it.

I am running and loving my steeda tune. Is Steeda providing some sort of supplemental warranty? Have there been any/many Steeda failures? I love my tune but, Ford's hard line is cause for caution.

Keep running the Bama tune but get Bama to check it and make sure all is well.

I am also running a BAMA tune. The way I see it Ford will know if there was a tune loaded in the car regardless of the tune when you bring it in. So maintain the tune, don't beat the **** out of your car in extreme heat and enjoy. If something happens we will see if AM/BAMA are really going to back up their recent warranty info.

No Eric, Steeda has 0 failures. They actually run certain parameters in the tune that assist in cooling. Remember that they are in Pompono Beach, Florida so their cars are all tuned, dialed in, and tracked in the hottest part of the country. Call Gus and get some reassurance, then install your 93 tune and drive your 5.0 like it's meant to be driven.

I wouldn't switch from a Bama tune to a Steeda tune. He's covered with Bama. Steeda isn't covering their customers right now, even if it is a great tune.

I'm confused, isn't it only if the tune causes failure? from the tsb and now the bama warranty i don't see either side admitting any fault, so if an engine with a tune fails both ford and bama still dont think they are at fault so whose fault is it going to be?

Just stick with what you have. You'll be fine. Ford not liking people tuning their own cars is nothing new...

What he said is what I meant,

I'm trying to decide I'd backing out now would matter...

Not sure if this matters, but maybe call Bama and see if they have an updated tune that might be "safer". I got mine after they announced their warranty so I'm not sure if there's any difference between older tunes.

American Muscle is not covering anything other than damage to #8, and only on newly purchased tunes after they started offering the warranty, only on cars tuned with only their tune, no prior tunes, no modifications to their tune, etc..

So yes, AM offers a warranty with the new Bama tunes, but it isn't simple, or comprehensive.

Steeda has an updated " less agressive 93 tune" that's available. I got it from Gus the other day since i was a bit nervous about this #8 piston failure thing.
Must say that the original 93 tune was better IMO, might redownload the old tune back since i'm not liking this one.

NA your not confused. Just another "warranty" you will have to fight over.

No, If these tunes are causing your engine to run too lean, and you keep running it, the inevitable is going to happen. Stock won't. There might be some damage done, but it hasn't blown yet.
