"Build date" is when the final assembly takes place. Things like the motor, the tranny, the rear end, and all other sub-components (the ones that are prone to failing) would have been built on some other day prior to the final assembly day.

It's a neat thing to yak about over a drink, but otherwise, means very little (unless the motor falls out of the chassis or all the screws come out of the fender).

JJ is taking the right approach with how he is going to test the car. He's looking for real world results for everything he does. Not just power but daily drive ability as well. Just like most of us are going to do. Not everyone has money to have a purpose build drag racing car. We like to drive ours during the week and take it to events from time to time.
