The wife rejects my stang proposal

Is this a troll thread?

Dang, that sucks. My wife's only requirements for buying my Mustang were that I can't sell my Explorer to afford it (she gave it to me for my 26th birthday since I was desperate for a 4x4) and I can't spend more than $200/mo than I was for my '05 F150 4x4.
Good luck with it, man. Convenient that she gets what she wants (that way if you don't get your end of the deal she's still happy) but if you think it'll work out, go for it.
My wife and I work as a partnership. Some times a pissed off partnership, but we still don't make decisions without each other.

If it isn't a troll thread, it sure would make a good one.
I've never heard of issues with the head rests in the 2010/11 Mustangs. I've had both (10/11) and never experienced an issue (I'm 6'0). I wonder if the drivers having an issue have their seats tilted too far forward or have short arms or something? Again, not questioning those who really have an issue, just have never heard of this before, I've never experienced it, and I can't imagine Ford putting a head rest in the car that would make most folks uncomfortable. My 2 cents.

Here's a better plan: buy a used Alfa Romeo, and drive that for a year. After a year's worth of repair bills, she will be begging you to sell the Alfa and buy a Mustang.

Am I the only one that likes the headrests? My 99's headrests sucked:
This is not mine but the size and shape are all that matter. These things offered absolutely no support at all.
As for the wife/gf thing, my fiancee encouraged me to buy my '09 so you just need to find the right girl

Buy her car then buy your car problem solved. Works so far in my relationship for the last 12 years.
On another note (zips flame suit) some of the responses crack me up. You knock any thing about the Camaro's interior or more notably the rear visibility (which most owners claim to "get used too"). Responses ran like "you spend most of your time on the inside" etc and citing it as the number one reason to deject it yet turn around here and slam someone who doesn't like the position of something that for the most part is going to be an uncomfortable problem the whole time they are in the car. So something that you can "get over" is an instant turn off or proof of garbage on one, yet a point for ridicule for even mentioning on another or to go so far as labeling them a troll? This doesn't sound like a troll thread to me just someone disappointed because he wanted and she didn't. If she's the passenger more than likely most of the time her head will be on the headrest. We all accept some quirks for a something we really like but some people don't care about cars like we do and are more interested in ancedotal things to us like headrests.
