You're welcome! And yes, the mycolor feature on the new cars is awesome!

If you put the wrong badges on your car on purpose (IE putting a shelby badge on a v6) you deserve bad things to happen

its also called being a ricer

Not yet lol

I get what you're saying brother, It's just the emblem statement came outta left field. I thought this was a "neon" discussion. I guess it's just a ricer thread now

...but I agree, axles should break and all the rods should go through the block! Hahah

If you're the only one with neon, and it's done in moderation, you stand out.
If you park next to 6 other cars with neon, it gets old quick. ( same with black wheels )
Fads come & go, the trick is to mod your car so it stands out.....& doesn't look like everybody else's ride.

If there was such a thing as bug repelling day/night lights for the front end, think I’d have those.

I have blue led lights under my strut bar. I attend a local car meet every Saturday and when its dark out the lights help show off the engine bay. Not sure why people call this a ricer add on but it sure shows off that Ford engineering

Any mod that does not contribute to the performance of a vehicle is rice in my books.

Aka window louvers, fake hood scoops, side scoops etc. Rice stands for "race inspired cosmetic enhancements".

So mustangs by their true nature (Ford Designed and Factory Installed) are ricers?

How about Roush AB? How much performance do those add?

I like it a lot. It starts spreading to the pavement then I think ricer but in the end who cares? It's your car.

I agree about Plastidip overall but for small things I think it's pretty cool if you want the ability to go back to stock. Example for me is the shiny shifter bezel.

There is a well respected cobra on instagram that is all about it and to me it detracts away from the car.

Am I the only one that is noticing this growing trend? And why is it growing? Is it due to the fact others are doing it and so you might as well too?
What it comes down to is making the car yours. We have an older 2003 Mustang in our complex with a gigantic ricer wing on it. Whatever, it's his car.
