It looks like I may be ending up in DC after my time in El Paso is done, so I'm giving the Comfort package some serious consideration.

I live in the DC area and I'm not afraid to use my heated seats!

Barely even heat up. Real weak. 1 stage. My other cars have 3 stage heaters that will roast you if you want them to.

Jerry I'm gonna need to get dealership recommedations from you. Looks like I'll be out there around July or so, probably won't be ordering until late summer at the earliest.

I can recommend several you shouldn't buy from but still haven't found one I'm completely happy with. I've purchased from 5 of the area Ford dealers at one point or another.

I know the 2011 seats at least are two-stage.

I got it for the heated seats. I like to drive with the top down when it is a little chilly out.

My Escape has them too, they work really good and heat up very fast, you can feel the warmth all the way to your lower back. Think they're 2 stages as well. Yes i did get the confort group as well, for me it was a no-brainer. I like everything that's power adjustable. My back would never say no to that kind of option.

Heated seats are the main part of the pkg that I wanted. Not worried about the power pass. seat, but it's cool. I'd rather have heated leather than anything else. Makes your body feel warmer a lot faster.

I would have if it had a/c seats also, down here in texas we don't need no stinkin heated seats, but cooled seats would really be nice.

I would have liked to see the comfort package include the dual zone HVAC setup, instead of grouping that with the electronics pkg. Seems that DEATC would be more of a comfort piece than an electronic one. I also thought the 2010 comfort pkg came with the auto-dimming rear view mirror.

Ah, Ok. I was going to get one either way. One of the creature comforts that I will spend the extra $$$ on no matter what. Too bad the side mirrors aren't auto dimming and/or heated as well (the '09+ Mazda6 offers that as an option).

same here. If the auto-dimming mirror had been exclusively apart or the comfort group I would have had to get it. I can't tell you how many times I get some big rig or truck behind me with their brights on. It hurts my eyes and gives me a headache

Tint my friend. But yeah, even with 15% tint, being lowered, I get blinded every now and then. The main culprits are the newer Toyota Tacromas and Tundras, and the GM trucks/SUVs. Those vehicles have really big/bright headlights, and seem to line up directly with my rearview mirror. I just tilt it up when they're behind me...

FWIW, I would be getting the Comfort Pkg. I never really used Heated Seats before, but after driving my mom's Focus with them a few times, it is kinda nice when it's cold out. Again, especially for the whiny ladies! Yes, I know I'm not the only one here who would be spending extra $ on options to keep their spouses happy...
