I havent seen any booklets from the dealers i have been looking at in my area. When i got my 2005 gt in late 2004, then wouldnt accept the x-plan for me. they gave me garbage that the car was too new. but oh well.
I think some people have ordered but do not have a set delivery date.

Hey bud, I haven't personally ordered one for a customer yet, but I did put an order in the USOB (UnScheduled Order Bank), and its sitting there waiting for allocation to start. As for brochures? Nothing yet, and I wouldn't expect them till around closer to the new year. Once the final build for 2009s is past (December 19th), then they will start pushing the 2010. And lastly, about X-Plan? I don't see a problem with it this time around personally, as most people who wanted an S-197 have one. And we see the crowd isn't "head over heels" like it was back in mid 2004 for the new '05, so the cars will be available rather easily compared to 2005. I know my boss didn't say anything to me about it, so I've told all my friends in my Mustang Clubs I belong to, about the way to get an X-Plan PIN number by purchasing Ford stock. If you have any issues ordering a car, let me know. I'll be happy to order one for you.

As Jeff said, I think X-plan will be available on 2010 Mustang V6's & GT's very readily. There's nothing really limited about the 2010 Mustang and we don't have people lined up ready to order/buy them, so there's no big hype, just a good performer at a good price. I order all the Mustangs for the dealership I work for and we're a large volume dealer. We even have Shelby Mustangs well below MSRP. Supply has totally caught up with demand in the Mustang world, so big markups are a thing of the past for most dealers.

Can you give more info on this? PM if you prefer. I have considered buying some stock since it's low and this might make it worthwhile. Thanks in advance.

Jeff, is 11 Dec the date they will start scheduling orders? Is the VIN issued when the car has been scheduled?

I have the form you need to get the PIN number. To tell you, this topic was discussed on there a few months ago. Hit the search button up top, and enter "X-Plan PIN". When it comes up, you'll see where one thread says Ford stock. Click on that. If you have a fax number, I can also fax you the forms. Let me know. Its rather easy.

Got a fax number handy? I'll fax the form over until I can get it scanned and posted up.

Its funny, as now I can't find that info anywhere on Ford's dealer site. I do believe it will start in December, but it may be the following full week, as they are still scheduling 2009s yet. Once I know for sure, I'll be posting it up.
