Who is getting a 2013?

If I had the money, this would be a really hard decision. All the new standard features would very compelling for me to just get a "base" car and be done. I think I would option up a V6 300A with the Recaros and Performance Pack (so glad they got rid of Mayhem!!). Or V6 Premium with the same packages and the Glass Roof. Then rebuild my SN95 into an all out track/street monster.
The Boss would be very compelling too though. Or just go all out and GT500, and sell my soul to the devil. About the only version I couldn't see myself in is a "regular" GT hah...

I won't.........still like the looks of the 05-09 better.
Do like those Recaros and hood vents. But I'm an old guy who isn't into all the new electronic toys and 300hp is plenty for me in a street car.

There are some very nice upgrades to the 2013s... I still get the feeling that 20 years out, barring WWIII or an asteroid impact, the 05-09 styles and the 10-12 styles will be remembered better. The new styling elements are too cluttered and just trying a bit too hard, IMO.
The tail lights...are awesome though. They look like candy..I seriously want to put them in my mouth.
Anyway, the evolution reminds me of what happened from 1968/69-1970 with the Chevelle. 1968 was a new body with some new muscular and graceful lines...1970, still great looking but it dialed up a number of styling elements and lost some of the beauty of the original.
IMO, the '10 style was the sweet spot for the S197s... but I wouldn't think less of anyone who prefers the '05 or the '13...they're all cool cars.

I think the only way I'd trade in my 12 on a 13 is if I got a hell of a good deal on a GT500, likely won't happen now though with 650 HP!! I have a feeling there will again be ADM's on GT500's and the Boss's will now start selling at or slightly below sticker.
I like the rear end on my car but think the 13 is better so I'll probably just swap that out once I see one in person. That should be enough of a change for me now then I'll wait for the 2015 to come out and likely either get a 13-14 GT500 or 2015 if I like the reveal.

Same here, I still prefer the 2005-2009.
But if I took a 2010(reason is harness compatibility), put the 2012 Boss front end on it, the 2013 Shelby rear end on it and built a 5.3 litre de-stroked 5.8 block and a T-56 Magnum? I think that combo might give the 05-09 a run for its money, aesthetically speaking of course. Would look sick as ****.

This was set in motion before this post. My BMW 328i was detailed last week and I am getting photos today and getting it up on Cars.com.
When the order banks open in December I am absolutely ordering one. I am getting a GT with Track Pack and Recaro seats..
I CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE A GT COUPE WITH TRACK or BREMBO PACK...

I am planning on getting an order in on a black with red int coupe as soon as a dealer will lock in a price on my 2010 trade.
Want to see the order guide but I am thinking nav, comfort, shaker pro, glass roof. Basically checking boxes until there are no more to check. Except the reverse sensors. The big choice will be regular brembos vs the new track pack

I'm really glad I found this thread. I haven't been on for a while and missed all the new features. I took the Corolla I've been driving lately for service only to find out it needs about $1,000 in repairs (it's 10 years old!) so I figured I'd only change the brakes for now, save for a few more months, sell the Corolla, and get a Mustang.
Guess I'll wait a few more months before buying but will probably put my order in. Any ideas when orders can be taken? Any San Diego dealers browsing this?

I've got too much invested in my 08 vert. Yea, I know, never get back what you put into it. But it runs sweet and I really don't care so much for newer technology, have 2012 Grand Cherokee that has all that. But me too, gosh I love the back end.
