As production is about 6 months away, I'm suprised there haven't been more spyshots of the 2011 mules. As far as I know, this are the only shots:














I guess they could be harder to spot, especially as we're not expecting any major surgery to the bodywork.

I mentioned a while a go that I thought it was strange how those two pics of the 5.0 popped up months ago, and then nothing else.

BTW, on that white mule, I like how the pillar in between the side windows are painted giving it more of a coupe look. I wonder if that will stay to give it more of a 69-70 look on the Boss or something like that???

 

It also has a roll cage and one exhaust pipe. What the hell is it?

 

I find it weird that the grey S197 has a rear mounted antenna.. whats up with that?

That's right, I remeber commenting on that when it first came out, but I wasn't sure if it really had only one pipe, or if it was just obscured in the pic. Weird.

I would imagine even the 3.7 will have to have duals with it's (supposed) output, so what would they even be testing with single exhaust?

If the 2011 looks like the 2010, just look at a 2010 and pretend it's a 2011. Problem solved.

2010 and 2011 will look the same. We've seen these photos a hundred times already.

 

How hard is it to slap a 5.0 badge on the side of a 2010 and screw with people? Without any external changes, a pic ain't gonna do much. I'd rather have stats and an engine-bay shot.

I'm a sucker for the detail. If mules are running around with modified front and rear facias, I want to know. I'll be just a little disappointed if Ford doesn't give us something externally (5.0 fender badges don't count ) to differentiate the 2010 and 2011.
