"Good luck in the search for your first car!"
(That's the nice side of me talking...)
The other side (that had to scrimp and save to buy an '80 Ford Pinto in puke brown- with a sexy orange pinstripe- as my first car) says:
"You should have to SUFFER through your first car before experiencing the awesomeness that is the '14 Mustang GT!"
As for those who advise waiting for the S550... I already own a first generation year Mustang ('65), and I'm done with dealing with first year bugs. I have no idea what they're going to do to the '15, but I know that I LOVE the looks of the '14- and its easily the highest quality Mustang I've ever owned (and I've owned one of just about every generation- including a '76 Mustang II ).
I- for one- do not look forward to the retirement of the retro-Stang! (Besides, if we're honest, 90%+ of us never drive our Mustangs hard enough to worry too much about that solid rear axle.)
