Wheel & Tire / Lowering Car

Hi all,

A question to the brain trust here: I’m shopping for wheels and tires for my new ’13 GT and have found a set I really like…the rub is they are 20” with 35mm offset. At some point in time I’d like to lower the car 1”, possibly 1.5”. If I decide to do that, are the larger diameter wheels going to cause clearance issues of any kind?

Thanks for any input you have,
John

You shouldn't have any issue. I dropped 2" front & 2.6 rear with 19" x 9.5" wheels & 275/40 tires.
