I am just guessing, but I think it's like us saying something looks "guido."

 

Definitely #2 is the winner in my book. Flashy, but not too loud, and would go really well with your color. #1 Would blend in with your paint too much and just look blah.
Yeah, its on the pricey side, but I would rather save for a bit longer for the one I really want than to buy the cheap ones because they are cheaper, and the regret it later.
