Maybe they have changed the factory supplied locks as the ones that came with mine are McGard's. Good quality company and have been around for many years.

I have had both Mirror and NAV rear camera, I really don't care for the mirror one. Like others have mentioned on a sunny day it is hard to see and if there is any dew on the camera it makes it even harder to see becuase of the size of the image.

My NAV one on the Fusion is great, I really like having it!

The wheel locks are not going to cause any issues, I have them on this car and many others and don't have any vibration issues.

I would like to also see more info on the GT500 camera swap.

That's cool. Can't believe 3dcarbon hasn't come out with a gt500 camera spoiler already.

Plus I have the reverse sensing system, and I DO like it....but given the option I'd much rather have the backup camera. Given that statement though I do NOT like the spoiler the cam comes in, so I would end up customizing a new location when adding the ROUSH or GT500 spoiler!

I have had locks on my wheels since the early 90's. Never had a vibration issue from them.

I didn't even think about using the security package to lower the insurance payments. Oops.

I opted to get the Camera in the rearview mirror instead of the reverse sensing. Between the camera and the mirrors (and their blindspot mirrors) I feel like I can easily back into anywhere without a problem. The key word though is "feel", as I haven't tested 'everywhere'.....

I had an '87 Z24 years ago, and I know for certain the locking lug nuts I put on there did affect the balance. I could test it on and off, and it would definitely change the balance. I found putting it opposite of the balancing weights helped, but didn't always eliminate the problem entirely.

Seemed strange to me, since it so close to the center of the wheel. But it did, SWEAR!

Perhaps you got a Pep Boys "kwality" wheel lock kit. Besides, just losing a valve stem cap would make a Cavalier vibrate.

Where do you guys come up with this???? I've rotated my wheels three times now (32K on the odometer) and never once has the single wheel lock or its keyed socket given me any difficulties. Perhaps its due in most part to folks ignoring the torque requirements for tightening the lugs down in the first place. That would be no fault of the lug.

Besides, I read on the internet that locking lug nuts provide 2 more HP, and 1 extra MPG in fuel economy.
