So you have the option of choosing between these options on the Mustang. I haven't tried the easy one, and I feel no difference between normal and sport. Does this actually do anything?

The comfort one is nice in parking lots and when you're in no way trying to be sporty

I think it gets a bit stiffer from comfort to normal to sport. I always have it on sport. It feels more "direct."

Mine has been on Sport since I have had it, to me it is a little stiffer like jmaStang said.

Which Mustang do you have?

And, are you just trying the modes sitting still or at low speed?

There are quite a few variables involved in how the modes work compared to how the car is being driven.

2014 V6 Auto.

I've driven normal and sport quite a bit. I figured sport would be a little tougher/stiffer making turns, but I feel no difference.

In Advance Track Sport Mode (which gets turned on everytime I start the car...) it defaults to sport mode. Don't think I have tried the other ones, supposed to give the most feedback and be the most firm

At higher speeds sport is stiffer than the normal mode. Driving around at normal city speeds they pretty much feel the same. In my personal experience at least.

I always keep mine in the sport setting. I prefer the feel of the stiffer feeling

I'll need to test that. Thanks.

Non performance package V6 cars don't have a very aggressive sport mode setting so it is not unusual that it doesn't feel much stiffer than standard mode.

I use sport most of the time but switch to Comfort or Normal when I'm just cruising around. I'm not usually just cruising around so I'm not in that mode much. LOL

I've never messed with mine at all. I think it's still in normal mode. I will have to try out the others at some point.

if you can find a long turn, switch from sport to something else in the middle of the turn. You'll feel the difference.

Huge difference in the feel with the GT500.

I always leave mine in sport but there is not much difference, at least my feel there isn't.

Comfort mode makes it much easier to turn the wheels at very low speed; like pulling into a parking spot. Try parking your car using all 3 modes; you'll feel the difference.

I mostly used Sport (V6 manual), and fairly recently changed to mostly Normal after waffling between them for a while - after another thread on this lol. Sport was my natural first choice because that's how I drive. I do notice a difference, especially when stepping on the gas when apexing a curve. The Sport requires noticeably less steering input than Normal. In fact, you gotta be careful with this with this car (MCA, non-PP), makes it really easy to oversteer if you've been in Normal for a while. Much less "prob" going from Sport to Normal. I should have said that I do mostly (very small) city driving. [Geez...just can't type or get a thought out today...]
