Aaand just found a video, GT500's on a red 13 Boss with 3/4" restrictors...and an oddly familiar username.

I have the borla x and borla OTA. The borla OTA are a direct replacement to the oem OTA albeit larger diameter (I think) and without resonators (for sure).

I love mine, perfect fit to my corsas. If the RTR fits like any other axleback, you'll be fine.

Here is mine a couple of nights ago. It sounds louder on a cold start.

yup, I'll be fine then. Only thing is the price... Haven't been able to find them for less than $380...

An actual rev.... Keep in mind this is in my driveway in a residential neighborhood. Here's a newer clip, but with the side plates out.

Thankyou for that video. I have Boss side exhaust and will be adding GT500 exhaust shortly. I'm also adding the QTP cut-outs soon as well. There is no drone at highway speeds with restrictors gone but **** is it loud inside.

Oh yeah, the 245k beast is way better than the wife's GT or my Boss... especially with the burnt drive belt smell that still permeates the interior of the van after the compressor seized. I can't wait to start driving it again after I finish the audio upgrade.

My GT500's are on schedule to arrive today. Still need to find a solution for the rather thin tips.

I mentioned that to the guy that was putting them on with me and he said the rounded tip gives them a whishing type sound because the air is being reflected off of the rounded tip part. Also the diameter of the tip helps create the sound as well. Be interested to see how much the sound changes if you put different tips on them.

I started this morning, knowing that UPS would arrive some time today. Of course, not knowing if they didn't lose anything on the way, it was a bit of a gamble... I already removed my stock exhaust:

luckily UPS didn't mess up and they delivered everything:

the GT500's sound sweet !!

Thanks! These are 19" AMR wheels, in silver instead of charcoal or black.
