What size spacers would you use on 2011 Stock 18" wheels?

I am trying to plan ahead and get some spacers lined up for when I switch back to my stock rims and tires for the winter. But I hate the setback of the stock rims and would like to bring them out closer to the fender.

Also what brand would you recommend?

Thanks,
chris

I'm planning on putting 1" spacers on the rear of my car when I lower it with the Eibach ProKit. I don't really like the way tires look all tucked up under the rear fenders on lowered cars. I'll probably leave the fronts as is. Kinda gives the illusion of having wider wheels in the rear.

From pics that I've seen, the 1" makes the tires look flush. All of the pics I've seen with the 1.5" make the tires stick out past the rear fenders. Not a look I'm really fond of.

Click on the top 2 options on this link, they have pics.

Yeah I did some math on the width of my aftermarket rims and their offsets and then the +44 offset on the stock 18x8 rims and +25mm spacer would be perfect for front and back

And I am also considering getting my stock rims powder coated gloss black from silver and these would go ono my Kona during the winter

Actually with further investigation, it looks like I have to get the 1.5" spacers if I am using them with factory wheels.

Looks like the 1" are too thin and the original studs stick through too far for the OE wheels to be mounted.

My stock rims have cavities between each lug hole that would allow the extra bit of lug that comes through the spacer to sit in and the stock rim would then sit flush on the spacer. Check your OE rim

Check this guys car out:

According to his sig, he uses 20mm spacers with the BPP wheels.

The stock 18" wheels have different back spacing which tucks them into the fenders more. IMO those Brembos look worse with spacers, they look great stock.

Since you are talking about winter wheels, I'd suggest that you reconsider this plan.

I don't know where you live, or how much snow and slush you get there, but do you really want that crap being thrown up on the side of the car?

If you leave the wheels tucked in, you'll get less crud on the side of the car, more of it will be trapped in the wheel-wells.
