This. You gave them an exact, specified order, and they goofed. They should be correcting their mistake; who cares if ordering another trunk lid costs them $1000. If they got your order right the first time it wouldn't have been their problem.

Bummer though. I'd be pretty sick about it too if my order was goofed.

this is easy:

wait....im with you....can't stand the wings...just think everyday you will look at the wing and curse it....and if you get it taken off and holes filled, everyday you will curse the holes ;-)

so you have to wait but don't have a car....thats where craigs list comes in....get a old 2.3L fox to tide you over....your nice clean wingless mustang comes in...sell the fox

^^ Where in LA are you from Al?

Been looking at pics of members rides and spoiler delete looks so clean. I don't know what I want done. I want to keep it so no body work is done but Id be happier with them doing the work and having the car the way I ordered it.
I'm in gramercy man. Right in the middle of Nola and BR. I'm in new Orleans a lot though.

Actually, I live in LaPlace, but I work in Harahan on Citrus.

Haven't seen too many other GB's around. I see one lady in a V6 Vert every now and then on Robert E. Lee, out by the lake, and apparently they have one that stays on Transcontinental off of Vets. Needless to say, even when yours gets here, we will still be a rare bunch!

I'm sorry dude. I got a black terminator. I was just excited to see home boys. I worked for riverlands dodge a few years back.

I installed my new spoiler this week and let me tell you, the extra hole that they have to run the wiring for the rear camera is huge! It is going to be a major PIA to have hole filled and painted. Just a thought!

My car does not have a rear camera, so the decklids that have the OEM spoiler must have the hole anyway.

The dealer needs to get you a wing-free decklid from the factory for their mistake. Simple as that. Having that filled is asking for problems down the road. Swapping one of their lot cars for a wingless lid would be another option, but they need to get a move on if that's the case.

You may want to contact FCS and get this known, if it's still at the plant they may have some way of correcting it.

They were gonna do a swap but they do not have any spoiler delete cars. Build day was May 2 so I don't kinow if they will be able to do that. I'm going to stop by today and see if they will just do the swap.

If not I will contact FCS. Thanks.

Hahahaha, good luck find another Grabber Blue car anywhere around here, much less one with the spoiler delete option. More than likely, they are going to have to order a new decklid and paint it. After seeing the holes while doing my spoiler swap, there is no way I would want anyone trying to screw around with filling those holes and painting it.

No luck today. My saleperson is on vacation til the 12. I don't care if I have to wait for the new decklid to come in. I'll give an update next week.
